The short version
Car Care Notifier keeps everything about your cars on your own device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no in-app purchases. We can't see your data, and we never sell it.
Who we are

Information stored on your device
Everything you add to Car Care Notifier is stored locally on your phone using the device's own storage. It is not transmitted to us or to anyone else. This includes:
- Your vehicles (names, colours, and any details you enter).
- Service items — oil changes, inspections, brakes, and any custom services.
- Service dates and odometer readings (in kilometres or miles).
- Your reminder preferences and which checks you've marked as planned.
Information we do not collect
- No account or sign-up is required, and we don't ask for your email or name.
- No third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and no ads.
- No location tracking and no advertising identifiers.
- We never sell, rent, or share your personal information.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, Car Care Notifier schedules local reminders on your device — typically about two weeks before a service is due. These are generated entirely on your phone; their content is not sent to us or any server. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
Payments
Car Care Notifier is free to use and contains no in-app purchases or subscriptions. We do not collect or process any payment information.
App permissions
The app asks only for what it needs to work — chiefly permission to send you notifications. You can grant or revoke this whenever you like in your device settings.
Deleting your data
Because your data lives only on your device, deleting the app removes it completely. We keep no backup and cannot restore it for you.
Children's privacy
Car Care Notifier is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes as the app evolves, we'll update the "last updated" date above and reflect the changes here.
